Brava: Deputy Fernanda Burgo demands a solution to the crisis in the Association of Municipalities of Fogo and Brava
Ilha Brava, 7 July 2023 - The deputy of Ilha Brava, Fernanda Burgo, expressed her indignation with the current situation of the Association of Municipalities of Fogo and Brava (AMFB), highlighting the urgent need to solve the problems that have affected the organization. The parliamentarian described the attitude of those involved as shameful, highlighting the apparent desire of some individuals to use power to satisfy their own personal ambitions.
The AMFB, responsible for coordinating activities and joint projects between the municipalities of the islands of Fogo and Brava, has faced a crisis in recent months, with accusations of arrogance, thirst for power and disorganization. These allegations have generated growing dissatisfaction among citizens and local leaders, who expect immediate action to correct the situation.
Congresswoman Burgi emphasized the importance of the AMFB for the sustainable development of the islands of Fogo and Brava, highlighting the economic and social benefits that the association can bring.
